I love technology....most of the time (can you hear me screaming now?)

I seriously could scream. I've been looking forward to watch [二重裁判] ("Two-sided judgement"), a one-off drama featuring Masaya Kato which premiers today on TBS. Now, I usually can watch this channel through the KeyHoleTV software, which allows you to receive most analogic Japanese tv channels, as well as quite a few Japanese radio stations (and it's all perfectly legal!). Only I've just opened the program to find out that TBS is NOT on the list of channels right now. NHK has been on and off, but it's the first time I can remember TBS disappearing as well. Of all the days....

I seriously feel like crying right now. I have been looking forward to this for WEEKS (I think the announcement of [二重裁判] being shown on TBS dates at least back to the middle of April)....now my only hope is that some good soul will put it on the internet, but seeing as it isn't a serial jdorama, I'm not holding my breath....

At least I've finished scanning Shel'tter - just need a bit of photoshoping before I can put it up though

*hugs* I know all about technology being a nightmare - my laptop went belly up again on Thursday.

ARGH!!!! I've only just found out - I've been working on getting this mag up and finishing an article on Neolithic/Early Bronze China and haven't kept up with what was happening here over the weekend

I am so, so, so sorry and gutted on your behalf you couldn't go :-( I know how much you were looking forward to it! Damn you universe for getting in the way of our 'ships/interests *shake fist*

Do you think you could manage to go before the end of the run? Maybe I could still get you a ticket for then?

I just felt really badly for wasting your money - and such a lot of it! Are you sure about buying me a second ticket, because you've been more than generous already?

If you're really sure (and I confess I do still desperately want to see it), I'd prefer a Saturday matinee in July.

Ok, it looks like all Saturday matinees in July are still open, and that stalls places are still available from July 18 onwards

From there it's up to you ;-)

Stalls ticket booked for July 18, 2009 (matinee performance) *g*

It's not the special package though (since stalls tickets were available): I hope you won't be too disappointed :-(

Thanks ^-^ Happens to me a lot (like last year when my wifi internet connection decided to crash and take my digital receiver down with it just as season 4 of Doctor Who was starting *whistle*), so it's when things work out for the best that I'm actually surprised. The really annoying thing about that one in particular is that I'm not even sure it will make it to the internet, seeing as it's not the kind of show that will have an important jdorama following among people susceptible to post it online....

They had just rebooted everything a few days ago, so I guess this is why we're getting channels back slowly....or maybe they don't have the rights to air TBS and NHK anymore, although they didn't make any announcement in that regard....
